There are various things to consider when buying a diamond ring online. When choosing the diamond for the ring, look at the four C's: color, cut, clarity, and carat. Each diamond ring that Abelstedt makes is GIA certified, which means you have all the information you need about the size, quality, and origin of your diamond. You must also consider gold karat and color where we at Abelstedt offer both gold and white gold in three different karats: 10 karats, 14 karats, and 18 karats.

The easiest way to find out your partner's ring size is by asking their friends or close family members (discreetly) to find out her perfect ring size. Alternatively, you can borrow one of your partner's rings and take it to a jeweler who can measure the correct size. Of course, you can do that yourself. Whatever design, carat, or stone you choose, a beautiful diamond ring will be something you will want to show off! Diamonds and sapphires are durable and strong, but to ensure that your diamond ring remains as shiny as possible, we recommend that you remove it during swimming, cooking, or manual work to prevent damage and wear. It's hard to say how much to spend on a diamond ring, but spending one to three months' salary (net) on a ring seems to be widely recognized and accepted by many in the Western world. Keep this in mind though: what you actually use is up to you and your own situation.

1. Grab a tape measure, string, or strip of paper.
2. Wrap it around the finger you’ll wear your ring on—if you’re creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit—and mark where it joins with a pen.
3. Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and measure the length up to the mark using a ruler. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest Abelstedt ring size.
