Ever since I was a young girl living in Copenhagen, Denmark, it had always been my dream to create high-end jewelry that captures beauty and elegance yet is accessible for all.
So when the opportunity came for me to make homemade pearl bracelets, I jumped at the chance! After successfully selling them among friends and family, I felt there was no end in sight. Wanting more knowledge about the industry, I packed my bags and headed to Hong Kong with nothing but an ambitious mindset full of creative ideas ready to explore.
This pushed me even further on my journey to make beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that will sparkle forevermore. I decided to document and share my designs on social media, and soon my small following started to grow into a community just as passionate about elegant jewelry design as I was.
With this momentum behind me, I officially launched Abelstedt in 2015 with a mission to “Make Life Beautiful.” My goal was to create revolutionary jewelry designs that differ not only in appearance, but also in the quality and manner in which they are created.
I see jewelry as art, which is close to my heart and has been the core of my vision from the design and craftsmanship process to the jewelry delivered to the hands of the new, happy owner of an Abelstedt piece.
In 2018, we established our own factory in Hong Kong with my best friend who runs the factory, and together with the best and most skilled goldsmiths, we have formed a dream team. They create every piece by hand, and thanks to new technology, we were one of the first goldsmiths to apply a 10-micron thick gold plating on our sterling silver pieces, which is thicker than the standard 3-5 microns widely used in Europe.
After making a big move to our cozy, new office space and opening stores on every corner of town, it seemed like business was growing at lightning speed. But something about it didn’t feel quite right.
I found myself losing my passion for design amidst the hustle and bustle of running a business. To stay true to what really matters to me, I decided to only sell through an online store where customers could interact with me directly as opposed to a middleman.

Abelstedt has experienced a tremendous journey in the past year, thanks to our dedication to design and craftsmanship. We’ve been able to expand far beyond Copenhagen, shipping our jewelry from here!
Our dear family and friends have played an integral role in this project by working late nights to carefully pack orders into our iconic blue boxes. We owe it all to you as well – thank you for supporting us on this mission. Let’s continue making life beautiful together.

The Tape Method
1. Grab a tape measure, string, or strip of paper.
2. Wrap it around the finger you’ll wear your ring on—if you’re creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit—and mark where it joins with a pen.
3. Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and measure the length up to the mark using a ruler. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest Abelstedt ring size.
Measure an Existing Ring
1. Choose a ring that already fits the finger well.
2. Measure the inner diameter of the ring in millimeters (mm).
3. Use the measurement chart above to match the size of your ring to the closest Abelstedt size in mm.
