There was a small error on one of the rings I had ordered. There was no way to correct the error without it becoming visible and the ring was sold out in my size. I was therefore sent a really nice gift as compensation, which was a really nice solution. They care a lot about customer service and go to great lengths to resolve things one way or another. I bought an oxford oval gold plated ring last summer which unfortunately lost its gold plating after a year and now 3/4 years later it is starting to lose the protective coating they gave it… I contacted Abelstedt as I had never seen a ring that started to crackle, and got hold of the sweetest employee, who was really helpful – she sent me a new ring in pure silver instead, which looks just as beautiful as the other one in gold. In April 2022, I bought an Equestrian bangle bracelet.
After only a few uses, the clasp began to spring open. I brought this to the attention of Abelstedt in June 2022. They responded that “the small silver clasp can be a bit fragile, as it is very thin and silver is just as soft as gold and white gold. So try pressing it gently up or down, depending on which direction it has been pushed out of shape.”
The small clasp is very thin and fragile, but I tried gently pressing it back into place without breaking it. However, this did not work, so the bracelet was sent for repair. I received it back and was told that “our goldsmiths have just pulled it a bit tighter on one side, as it had been pushed down. You just need to press it back into place if it becomes loose again.”
I am very dissatisfied with having a bracelet that cost around 2,000 kr. that cannot be kept closed without constantly having to press it back into place, and especially with Abelstedt not acknowledging the problem.
So if you are considering buying an Equestrian bangle from Abelstedt, be aware of the issue with the clasp mechanism.

Bought a ring last year that I would like to exchange for a larger size. Was promised time and time again per email that it would arrive within x number of weeks. However, every deadline I was told it still hadn’t arrived. So I ended up sending it back.
After a year, I discovered that the ring was finally back in stock and rushed to order it in the right size.
When I receive it I can really see that it feels and looks smaller. I go to a jeweler who confirms that the ring is not the specified size that I ordered.
I contact Abelstedt once again, who tells me that the ring in my size is sold out! Why on earth does it appear on your website – and why do you send the wrong size under the pretext that it is the right size?
It’s just a round of pathetic customer service.

We ordered wedding rings on 4 November around 15:30. It is said on the website that if you order before 16, your order will be dispatched the same day. Delivery time for the rings was 1-3 work days.
However, the tracking info showed that our parcel was registered with PostNord on 5 November, but items were not shipped from the seller.
I contacted the seller by email on 9 November. Only after that, 5 days after the order, our rings were shipped. We were just lucky that Post Nord was quick in delivery, so we got the rings before our wedding

It has now been 14 days since I sent in my ring and I still have not received another size back.
I was promised by email by Oliver from Abelstedt that my package would have been there before the weekend, but it is still only listed as registered on postnord’s app, just like the last time when I didn’t get the package, but it ended up with another person.
They also don’t pick up the phone when you call, or answer the email I’ve sent.
