Our gold plating is created using a process called Physical Vapor Deposition, or PVD. PVD is an extremely durable and long-lasting method of applying gold plating to steel, and it is also water proof. This means that our gold plated steel jewelry is not only beautiful, but also highly resistant to wear and tear, making it perfect for everyday wear.

The Tape Method
1. Grab a tape measure, string, or strip of paper.
2. Wrap it around the finger you’ll wear your ring on—if you’re creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit—and mark where it joins with a pen.
3. Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and measure the length up to the mark using a ruler. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest Abelstedt ring size.
